The Cold Steel® Nordmann axe has a curved cutting edge that allows for deep cuts and ends in two sharp points. The bottom point was generally used to hook a shield, or grab an opponent's leg, arm, shoulder, or neck to temporarily immobilize them or pull them closer to you. The top point was designed more for chopping or, with a direct thrusting motion, for piercing. The Norse Hawk is one of the most popular models in the Cold Steel® Tomahawk collection. It is highly valued by both reenactors and throwers, who admire its balance, effectiveness, and ability to stick effortlessly.
