Cold Steel CST-90WVBB Viking Battle Axe

Although Cold Steels® Viking Battle Axe was designed as a stand-alone weapon, it can also be combined with a sword, shield or Langsax.

It can slash, chop and stab so relentlessly that any Viking worthy of the name would envy you for it. The axe blade is forged and has a wide, arched cutting edge ending in two sharp horns or points. Thus, the axe can be used for stabbing and parrying, as well as for hooking the opponent's shield or limbs.

As with Cold Steels® Viking Bearded Axe, the handle is made of high quality hickory wood. And at 76 cm long, it offers enough space to guide it with both hands!

1055 Carbon Steel
The carbon content and relatively small proportions of other substances in this steel make it a very stable material that is free from the brittleness inherent in most high carbon steels. This steel is ideal for blades that are supposed to have a high impact resistance and is therefore often used for large knives, machetes and swords.
