Cold Steel Templar Throwing Axe

The Cold Steel® Templar is a special throwing instrument for modern tournament and sport throwers.

It was designed by custom blade maker Dave Baker and is inspired by an ancient historical throwing axe also known as a hurlbat. It is made from a solid piece of carbon steel hardened to spring hardness, has good throwing properties, and is simply fun to throw. When it comes to sticking, the Templar always lands on target with a dull, satisfying thud.

It has an axe-like head with a point at the top and back, and its handle tapers to a sharp point. As a result, it ensures a hit at almost any distance and rotation, and thanks to its high top-heaviness, it is also suitable for long-distance throws.
