Demko AD20.5 Shark Foot Tactical Knife DK-AD20-5-S

The Shark Lock™ mechanism designed and engineered by Andrew Demko has finally arrived!
With easy one-handed opening and closing, smooth caged bearings, and a Grivory handle and steel liners, this knife is up to the task!

The Shark Lock mechanism is situated on the spine of the knife and is operated by a ramp-shaped 'fin'. When opening the blade, the
spring-loaded locking arm moves upwards and then into a notch on the tang, placing it under a locking pin. This range of motion is noteworthy.
It is unique in that the locking mechanism moves back and forth while also moving up and down. This allows for a larger-sized blade tang,
which improves mechanical advantage in a specific area. And because the drive spring that moves the locking element upwards into the locking position
is contained within the locking arm, it will not be subject to dirt and grime. The Shark is very comparable to most Tri-Ad locks in size and
weight. The AD-20.5 has been tested at 875 pounds per inch of torque, which is a very impressive number for a 3.5 oz. knife.
