Includes a complimentary leather sheath.

We recommend not storing the blade inside the sheath for long periods of time because leather is a hygroscopic material and can therefore transmit moisture to the metal and cause it to rust over time. The carbon steel is untreated, so it may have rust, which is easily removable. You can protect this item from rust with synthetic or mineral oil.
