The blade is made of German 1075 high carbon steel and is heat treated and annealed to a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The edge is hand finished and polished to sharpness. The blade features the Condor Natural finish, which is a bare metal look. There is a special treatment on top of the blade to help prevent rust.
