The Cold Steel 1917 collection features a classic and practical design that evokes the adventurous spirit of yesteryear, whether in the Wild West or on the high seas. The machetes, knives, sabers, and swords in the 1917 series are ideal for 1830s historical reenactment groups, Cowboy Action Shooters (CAS), American Civil War and naval battle reenactors, and even modern military groups.

The 1917 Hybrid Machete is an improved version of the 1917 Cutlass Machete, featuring a solid steel guard that is much more effective than the original. The design includes numerous weight-saving holes and rolled edges that provide greater strength without being bulky. Additionally, it provides better protection for the user's hand.

This machete has a 1055 carbon steel blade that makes it highly resistant and durable. Its total length is approximately 77.1 cm, with a blade length of about 63.5 cm and a blade thickness of 5 mm. The handle is made of rosewood and is approximately 13.6 cm long.
