Their sharp, full-tang, double-edged blades made from AUS 8A stainless steel have been vacuum-hardened, sub-zero treated, and stone-washed for optimal strength and resilience. The ergonomic design of the Kray-Ex ™ handles is comfortable and adapts to any grip technique. The deeply textured handle surface and handguard on both sides ensure that the knife will probably never slip from your hand.

Each model comes with a state-of-the-art Secure-Ex® sheath with a boot/belt clip and removable lashing slots.

AUS 8A Stainless Steel
Cold Steel® has been using the same expertly hardened Japanese AUS 8A steel for almost three decades. This steel has been exceptionally well tested and has proven over the years to be excellently suited for manufacturing working knife blades: it is tough and corrosion-resistant with good edge retention and also easy to sharpen.
