Original Swiss blanket with high wool content, in used but good condition. The characteristic scent of the wool is due to lanolin, a natural substance present in the fiber, which is related to its resistance to fire and abrasion.

If you find the scent intense or bothersome, washing the blanket is not recommended, as it could damage the fibers. It is best to air it out outdoors for several days.
