Nowadays, Viking axes are popular collector's items, and are often wielded in movies, TV series, and video games to convey the image of wild and intrepid Vikings.

In terms of shape, the Viking axe head we offer here is classified as Petersen type F. The blade is hand-forged from high carbon steel, and the handle is made of sturdy ash wood.

Please note that this early medieval axe is not a battle-ready weapon. It is primarily designed as a collector's item or decoration/display piece and is by no means suitable for combat reenactment. In addition to its quality as a collector's item, it also perfectly suits as an accessory, for example, to complete your costume, and will make your transformation into a proud warrior perfect.
