The Cold Steels® Nordmann Axe has a curved cutting edge that allows for deep cuts and ends with two sharp points. Typically, the lower point was used to hold the opponent's shield, leg, arm, shoulder, or neck to temporarily immobilize them or bring them closer to you. The upper point was designed more for chopping or, with a direct thrusting motion, for piercing. The Norse Hawk is one of the most popular models in Cold Steel®'s Tomahawk collection. It is highly valued by both reenactors and throwers, who admire its balance, effectiveness, and ability to stick effortlessly.
