Please note: The handguard is intended for left-handed archers and is worn on the right hand, as the arrow is guided over it.

This handguard (also called a Y-glove) for archers is made of black leather, worn on the right hand over the thumb and index finger, and fastens at the wrist with a velcro closure. If your bow does not have an arrow rest (which is not uncommon for historical bows), this handguard protects you from injuries, as arrows are shot over the back of the hand and their fletching can cause injuries.
