This knife was custom-made for the renowned 9th Parachute Assault Regiment Col Moschin
of the Italian special forces, who officially adopted it in 2002. This
is a combat knife par excellence. It represents a contemporary reinterpretation
of daggers issued to the Arditi—the historical force in whose footsteps
the 9th walks—which featured asymmetrical blades and
straight but direction-sensitive handles. Designed to be lightweight and practical, balanced
decidedly towards the handle.
