Arditi Black Fixed Blade Knife, Extrema Ratio

A particular situation created in the early years of the First World War found soldiers in increasingly complex confined situations. These situations demanded the formation of units that over time had to excel in hand-to-hand combat. Our Arditi assault units had their own knife. They made these knives by cutting the tips off their 1870 long-bladed Vetterli bayonets, which in the past had been problematic due to their long and unwieldy length.

Today, on the occasion of its centenary, we remember this important piece of Italian military history with a celebratory version of only 1,918 pieces. This version comes with a black blade and a black Cordura sheath.
