This model, handcrafted in Japan from VG-1 San Mai® steel, is only produced in a strictly limited edition. A Cor-Ex™ sheath is included.

The VG-1 San Mai® is a professionally manufactured three-layer stainless steel. A hard carbon steel is sandwiched between flexible low-carbon steel. This ensures maximum edge retention with great resistance to lateral and sudden loads. This steel is only produced in extremely small quantities in Japan and is used by Cold Steel® for its most exclusive and valuable fixed blades.
