FGX Boot Blade I Boot Knife, Cold Steel CST-92FBA

Most of the super-light knives of the new Nightshade™ series are detailed replicas of the
popular existing Cold Steel blades. Some are completely new creations.

The blades are made of Griv-Ex™, the latest in fiberglass-reinforced plastic. Griv-Ex™ is even stronger
than Zy-Ex™, the super-strong material used in previous Cold Steel models. Each blade
is also UV and heat stabilized and therefore weather resistant.

Among other things, these knives are characterized by their unique, deeply grooved handles. The grip rods were straight with
Kray-Ex™ over-molding. The use of Kray-Ex™ in the design of knife handles is a Cold Steel innovation from
the early 1980s. This material offers a first-class surface that is easy to grip and insensitive to heat, cold, or humidity.
It will never rust, warp, crack, or splinter, even in the harshest conditions.
