Tai Pan dagger, San Mai CWT-35AA steel blades

The Tai Pan ® is as incredibly fast and deadly as the snake that gave it its name. Designed by Lynn C. in the characteristic Tanto style, this knife offers all the benefits of a classic dagger, with as few drawbacks as possible.

As is well known, most daggers have a thin, delicate tip with a relatively high susceptibility to breakage. In contrast, the Tai Pan is equipped with a spear point blade with a stable tip. This wide, thick tip is much less susceptible to breakage, but loses none of its high penetration power.

San Mai® is a professionally produced three-layer stainless steel. A hard carbon steel is enclosed between flexible, low-carbon spring steel. This ensures maximum edge retention with high resistance for sudden and lateral loads. San Mai® is a worldwide registered trademark of Cold Steel. Produced in extremely small quantities, this steel is used exclusively for Cold Steel's most exclusive fixed collector blades.
