Instructions for use

For safe and effective maintenance, apply the oil in a thin, even layer, always with the piece clean and completely dry.

1. Clean the metal surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, fingerprints, or moisture.
2. Shake the container and spray a small amount onto a cloth, or directly onto the piece from a short distance.
3. Spread the oil with gentle movements until a thin and homogeneous film is created, without soaking.
4. Let sit for a few minutes and remove excess with a clean cloth to prevent accumulation.
5. Repeat the process periodically, especially if the piece is exposed to air, temperature changes, or humidity.

Storage recommendations

• Use gloves or a cloth when handling blades to reduce fingerprints, which can promote oxidation.
• Apply a light coat after each handling or cleaning and before storing the piece.
• Store in a dry place, avoiding areas with condensation or high ambient humidity.
• If the piece includes a sheath or scabbard, make sure it is dry before storing it and periodically check the inside.
• For displayed collections, perform preventive maintenance more frequently during humid periods.
