The pre-formed Kydex sheath is equipped with eyelets to which both the lanyard and the attachment support can be attached.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe Satre is available in three versions with two different types of steel: The Black and Stone Washed versions are made of Böhler N690 heat-treated steel with 58 HRC.\u003cbr\u003e\nThis material was chosen for its oxidation resistance, cutting edge longevity, and, above all, for its reliability, which has proven effective over the years.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe Black S600 is made of Böhler S600 steel instead.\u003cbr\u003e\nThis steel is used for the production\u003cbr\u003e\nof metalworking tools and stamp production.\u003cbr\u003e\nThanks to its chemical composition with molybdenum, tungsten, and a high proportion of vanadium, it has\u003cbr\u003e\nexcellent properties in terms of hardness, wear resistance, and toughness.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe presence of cobalt promotes the growth of small and uniformly distributed carbides, which increase wear resistance.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe Satre S600 is thermally and cryogenically treated to achieve an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC.\u003cbr\u003e\nThis also makes it very wear-resistant and gives the cutting edge a long-lasting sharpness. Böhler S600 has a chromium content of 4.5%, which makes it oxidizable.\u003cbr\u003e\nFor this reason, Extrema Ratio has\u003cbr\u003e\nchosen the new EXP DARK coating.
