FIGHTING UTILITY straight-blade knife with 1095 high-carbon steel. According to the manufacturer's technical information, this steel is usually water-hardened, can reach a maximum hardness of up to 66 HRC, and exhibits good wear resistance and fracture toughness.

This is a low-hardenability steel, so it is aimed at the manufacture of knives with thin sheets and is especially recommended for small blades. The supplier also warns of a temper brittleness point around 260 °C during tempering, with a final hardness of approximately 60 HRC.

For use and final finishing, it is advisable to exercise extreme caution during sharpening, as chipping of the edge can occur in this material, and spatial deformation can appear in thin pieces.
